Visit to Greenwich May 2011

Livi and I visited Greenwich to find out what to visit for a longer trip with the family later in the year. Starting with a trip on the DLR from Bank to Greenwich (itself recommended in the Evening Standard as an excellent trip – which it was), we then took on board suggestions from a work colleague on places to visit.

Greenwich was a revelation, with remarkable architecture and museums, the majority of which were free. From the excellent visitor centre, Painted Hall and Royal Observatory, we will be back in number. An excellent day all round.
