(Not quite so) Daffodil Sunday

You never know what the weather will be like for Binley’s Daffodil Sunday – the daffodils are either well past their sell-by date – or not quite ready. This year, following cold weather early on, it seems that it was an early year! Still, the cakes as usual were most welcome and much money was raised for Andover’s Riding for the Disabled.

Daffodil Sunday 2012

This year Daffodil Sunday fell on Sunday 1 April. Fortunately it was a glorious day and we arrived in various modes – bike, car and walking. Following the first larger garden, the afternoon stalled at tea at the second, followed by the first croquet of the season with Liz and Al back at Harewood.
