A visit to Millionaires’ Row

Apparently it is the fourth most expensive real estate in the world, but the spit of land that is Sandbanks is extremely accessible and much smaller than I was expecting. With a suggestion to start with breakfast at the Jazz Cafe (it would be rude not to), there are acres of beach to wander along and miles of water to look out across. Highly recommended – but get there early.

Turner Inspired: In the Light of Claude

We visited the Turner exhibition at the National Gallery on 7 April. Interested to compare to other recent visits at the exhibition space at the National. Much quieter that the da Vinci, but impressive nevertheless. After a quick visit to the Hard Rock, we went to Covent Garden to have a look round the Easter Egg Hunt – fortunately they were all gathered at Covent Garden for the final weekend so we didn’t have to look around the whole of London to find them all…
