Parents

In the words of the well known academic from the University of Life, Prof Paul Whitehouse, “Aren’t old people brilliant?“. The old dears are now safely ensconced in Warsash and once again I am satisfied that I can never get hold of them because they are always out. A few pics for the record, including an action driving shot…

All Wight with Milly

A half term trip to the Isle of Wight with Milly (this time we left the gas cooker and pancake pan…). Travelling over once again on the Hovercraft, going as strong as ever and full to brimming on the way over. We took the lost tube train to Shanklin and Sandown and managed to pick the one day that had bright sunshine and relatively warm temperatures – albeit that the end of the pier, like most of the rest of the island, seemed to be shut for the winter.

Visit to Ark Royal

HMS Ark Royal was open to the public on 22 and 23 January. We went along to pay a final visit, which involved a rather long series of queues before being able to board – but rewarded with a good view of the ship and other nearby attractions of the Historic Dockyard.
